Introduction to Child Care Shreveport


Renee Richardson conducts one of the Introduction to Child Care classes. These new sessions were designed for new employees based on suggestions from directors. The 12-hour sessions are conducted quarterly.

KidzMath


The KidzMath Project is a special project designed to teach math skills to children in afterschool programs.

Participants in the KidzMath Project were part of a field test for the development of new math games.

Participants learn how to play games that teach math for use in their afterschool programs.

As more and more children are in afterschool programs, centers face the challenge of helping with academic skills while keeping the activities fun and entertaining.

Schoolage Conference


Jo Ann Nalley, our keynote speaker, of Arkansas State University located in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

A one-day Schoolage Conference was held in Monroe and Shreveport.
